ZF Services enhanced aftermarket support to OEMs and end-users

The aftermarket can now take full advantage of the most  comprehensive range of passenger car parts in India with latest clutch products and shock absorbers from Sachs, as well as rubber to metal parts and steering components from Lemförder. The range covers popular high-end vehicles including Audi A3, A4, A6, Mercedes C, S, M Class, BMW 3, 5 Series, Skoda Octavia, Laura, Fabia, VW Polo, Passat, Vento.
These mark ZF’s commitment to supplying the independent aftermarket with OE-quality products and full technical support, targeting the passenger car segment in India, as well as commercial vehicles, buses, and off-highway vehicles, ZF informed through a statement.
ZF Services has strengthened its distribution through authorised parts dealers and services partners in India. This has significantly augmented wider availability and support for the aftermarket products and services from ZF, the statement adds.
ZF Services views India as a strategically important market and is dedicated to strengthening its service and distribution network in the region.
Bernd Grasser, Head of ZF Services in India said, “The four strong product brands Sachs, Lemförder, Boge, and ZF Parts provide ZF competence in the aftermarket for passenger cars and commercial vehicles. From a strong basis we are developing further diverse segments, bringing in new and technologically advanced product solutions and service offerings into the automotive and non-automotive market.”
ZF is a leading worldwide automotive supplier for Driveline and Chassis Technology with 121 production companies in 27 countries. In 2011, the Group achieved a sales figure of about EUR 15.5 billion with more than 72,000 employees. In order to continue to be successful with innovative products, ZF annually invests about five percent of its sales (2011: EUR 754 million) in research and development.
For the aftermarket business, ZF’s driveline and chassis technology is offered using the well-established product brands Sachs, Lemförder, Boge, and ZF Parts. With its global service network and on-demand offers, ZF Services has also become a popular partner in the non-automotive sector.
