Watertech 2011Watertech 2011, a major water trade show focusing on innovations, products and services, as well as best practices, successful case studies and practical applications of water technologies. was held from 28 – 30th September 2011 at Gujarat University Exhibition & Convention Centre, Ahmedabad.
Watertech served as a platform for government and private players to interact and discuss about future projects and to understand innovative technologies in recycling. With an endeavour to bring out the best of technologies in recycling, the event focused on recycling as an industry.
1700 sqm exhibiting area, 102 exhibitors from 15 states of India, country pavilion from Govt. of Canada, participation from Govt.of Quebec, Ontario and European business & technology centre  were some of the highlights of the event. 
2011 was the debut for Watertech and attracted 102 exhibitors with strong confidence. A full programme of conferences was held alongside the exhibition. National Summit on Public Private Partnership opportunities in waste & waste water sector served as the highlight of the expo.
The exhibitor profile comprised of professionals from waste treatment & recycling, waste water treatment & recycling, waste treatment & recycling, pumps, pipes & fittings and clean energy. Knowledge sharing and intellectual discussions between top management of corporate and officials from Govt. of Gujarat on PPP projects in waste and waste water sector took place at the expo. Additionally, presentations from industry experts on various current issue solutions for the water and waste related problem and innovations were part of Watertech.
