Sanghvi Forging & Engineering commences commercial production at its new plant [November 2012]

Sanghvi Forging & Engineering Ltd (SFEL) announced that it has commenced commercial production at its new open die forging plant in Vadodara, Gujarat.
According to the company, “The new plant has the capacity of 15,000 MTPA and the ability to forge a single piece forging of up to 40 MT. The total cost of expansion was Rs 132 crore.”
Commenting on the commissioning of new plant Jayanti Sanghvi, Managing Director, Sanghvi Forging & Engineering Ltd, said, “With the commencement of the new plant, we are in the position to offer economical import substitution for Indian power, oil & gas, ship building and heavy engineering customers. We have started receiving orders for our new plant which will have a huge impact on our growth.”
The company informed, it has approvals from some of the leading industry bodies and clients including Engineers India Limited, Mecon Limited, Uhde India Limited, Toyo Engineering India Limited, Indian Boiler Regulation Project & Development India Limited, Technimont Icb Ltd, Larsen and Toubro Limited, Indian Oil Corporation, Director General of Quality Assurance, Bhabha Atomic Research Centre (BARC), Nuclear Power Corporation of India, Kuwait National Petroleum Corporation, Mazagaon Dock Limited, Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO), General Electric (GE) among others.
Sanghvi Forging & Engineering Limited (SFEL) is an ISO 9001:2008 certified Indian company engaged in manufacturing of open and closed die forging products for the oil & gas, petrochemicals, ship building, power & other sectors.
