LRT launches new model of Flame & Plasma cutting machines [ Feb 2012]

LRT, a group company of reputed Lakshmi Machine Works Limited (LMW), has launched a new model of flame and plasma cutting machines at IMTEX 2012. Situated in Coimbatore, LRT was incorporated in the year 1974 and had started its subcontract activities in the field of machining and fabrication in the year 1978. Over the years, it has been offering its facilities to various industry segments. The factory premise occupies an area of 10,500 sqm and the build up space for machine building and subcontracting activities.
At IMTEX 2012, LRT displayed its latest model of CNC profile cutting machines and had a live cutting demonstration of plasma and flame cutting at the stall. LRT’s machine was one of the highlights of the show and drew large crowds.
LRT demonstrated its working machine with Flame cutting torch and Plasma source (HSD 130 from Hypertherm) in its CNC Profile cutting machine. It showcased cutting of sheets in aluminium, stainless steel and mild steel in various thickness.
