“We can achieve the top quality and better production by setting up same instruments and process that KCL Japan maintains,” said, Mr. Izumi. “Setting up this fabrication unit is one of the major steps in order to actualise its planned export function to neighbouring countries which is already in its business scope in near future hopefully in Year 2013,” he added. Also present on the occasion Ravindra Sannareddy, MD, Sricity said, “We are happy that Kobelco Cranes have expanded their facilities to add a new production line. This will make KCI to employ additional manpower. More employment generation leads to a better economy. Furthermore, we are proud to see the ‘Made in India’ tag on a very prominent product of the crane.”
KCI invested around Rs. 25 crore to setup the frame fabrication unit which increases the production capacity from 90 units to 120 units annually.
