German major Pilz enters automation business in India [October 20, 2011]

Pilz GmbH & Co. KG, a leading German multinational group in the field of automation announced its entry into the Indian market by setting up a wholly owned subsidiary, Pilz India Pvt. Ltd, in India, Pune. Pilz provides safety systems and safety services for industrial automation, commenced their operations in India, with an objective to come closer to their Indian and global clients and provide them with world class support for safety technology specific to their requirements. The company is also setting up its development centre in Chennai and a sales office in New Delhi.
As an expert in the safety of human, machine and the environment, Pilz caters to a wide array of sectors like for example automotive, wind energy, oil & gas, machinery automation, packaging and railway. With an acquired specialist knowledge of over 60 years, Pilz provides viable solutions to the most complex safety issues and thus helps companies to apply the best manufacturing practises.
