Fainger LESER rechristened as LESER India

 After almost 27 years in India, and since 2010, as a 100 per cent subsidiary of LESER GmbH & Co. KG and the recent progress in the development and expansion of the Fainger LESER factory, it was time for an update of the name too: Since January 28, “Fainger LESER” is “LESER India”. “LESER is a progressing safety valve company for a progressing country with German technology made for India,” said Neeraj Mangal, CEO of LESER India.
LESER India as a subsidiary has been quite successful on the Indian market in the past 27 years: more than 180,000 safety valves have been installed in India and LESER has important pre- qualifications from leading companies such as EIL, ONGC and BPCL. The expansion of the product portfolio manufactured in India underlines this future-oriented approach.
LESER booth at Chemtech exhibitionThe new product, Type API 526 IC, was presented at Chemtech exhibition in Mumbai with a ribbon cutting ceremony at the LESER India booth. More than 500 customers  visited our stall at the exhibition.
In addition to the exhibition, LESER India invited customers to a “Rebranding Launch” to celebrate the name change. Chairmen Joachim Klaus, LESER India CEO Neeraj Mangal and General Manager Sales and Marketing Praveen Kulkarni explained the successful development of LESER in India, the background of the name change and future plans of LESER.
German technology for Indian marketLESER, Europe’s biggest safety valve manufacturer, brings a safety valve to India that represents the most advanced design and technology. It has been adapted to the requirements of the Indian oil and gas and petrochemical customers. The country configuration is available from local production with short lead time.
The LESER product group API (Type 526) contains flanged safety valves that meet all the requirements of API 526 such as standardized orifices and center-to-face dimensions. Their robust construction makes them especially suitable for high pressures.
Type 526 Series safety valves present the safe solution for heavy duty applications, such as crude oil extraction, transportation and processing.
