DMG/MORI SEIKI presented live demonstration of 10 exhibits at IMTEX
DMG/MORI SEIKI India displayed live machining on 9 machine tools and presented 1 tool presetters at the IMTEX 2013. According to the company, the live shows were organised to support customers to successfully master current and future production challenges of the metal cutting industry. On more than 400 sqm, MORI SEIKI displayed the latest turning and milling technologies.
DMU 60 eVo for high-end 5-axis simultaneous machining – which is live on display for the first time in India – was in the centre of attraction. The machine succeeds the DMU 50 eVo linear and continues the successful product line. The concept has been re-designed and improved on essential features. A special feature is the revolutionary design of the X and Y axis, which are now arranged as gantry. Further highlights include the horizontal machining centre NHX5000 from MORI SEIKI with spindle bearings with the largest inner diameter in its class, the highly productive compact machining centre MILLTAP 700, the first joint development from DMG and MORI SEIKI and the universal Turn & Mill Complete Machining Centre CTX beta 1250 TC.
