Previously we were lacking on specific vertical technical courses for this industry but now we have different institutions which take care of the automotive industry as well. This has increased the overall scope of the CAD/CAM systems, making them special.

In an email interaction, Dnyanesh Kulkarni, Director, Deltakraft Solutions Pvt Ltd speaks about the growth of CAD market, the popularity of automotive systems and shares the advantages of using Graebert software. Excerpts
The CAD market is expected to grow at a CAGR of 9.2% over the period 2014-2019. What are your comments on this?
As the builder, architects and construction houses along with some manufacturing and production verticals are in bad shape, the expected growth was around 15 per cent. However, the slowdown has had an impact on the growth reducing it to around 9.2 per cent. Even though there has been a reduction in growth, we are happy that there has been a positive growth and not a negative one.
Over the last few years, CAD/CAM software has become popular in automotive industry. What makes automotive CAD/CAM systems so special?
Previously we were lacking on specific vertical technical courses for this industry but now we have different institutions which take care of the automotive industry as well. This has increased the overall scope of the CAD/CAM systems, making them special. As a result of the new automations, different products complementing each other and features are giving extra ordinary effects in these products have complemented human intelligence, so the ease of designing and superior results has increased the scope for innovation.
Being an exclusive partner for Graebert, how do you see the demand for Graebert software in the manufacturing sector?
We see a lot of growth in the demands for this solution in the market. The cost effectiveness is based on the ARES Commander CAD engine. ARES Mechanical was created to fulfil the very specific 2D design needs of mechanical engineers seeking high productivity combined with exceptionally intuitive drafting and new feature like Constraint Design Solver (CDS) technology from Spatial Corp. has given good strength to this product. Also I will like to mention that as development network partner of Graebert, customisation as per customer needs
and requirement is very easy in this product. We expect to see growth in the mechanical and manufacturing industry.
What are the advantages of using Graebert software?
The software is for unique CAD products as it works on all operating software platforms like as well as gadgets Windows, MAC, Linux, Android, iOS. In addition to this, the perpetual licenses with first year subscription are covered in product price. We also have additional helpful features than any other similar products. ARES Touch is another solution that is very unique. It is the first full featured, tablet based CAD program which is compatible with the desktop versions and produces the same DWG format drawing files. This software is especially useful for field engineers and architects who can make changes to the drawing on the spot, as needed.
What is that one software of Graebert that is revolutionising the Indian manufacturing sector?
Graebert has not just one but two and more in the pipeline. The ARES Kudos is a revolutionary CAD software that is cloud based. The software is not yet launched in India. The unique licensing feature (of ARES Kudos) is that one can continue to use the same software on the desktop, laptop, android based smart tablet or Apple iPad offline and then sync up the files online and use it on the cloud as needed. This in turn gives complete flexibility to the user as to when and how he or she plans to use ARES technology for design work. It can be online on the cloud or offline on any of the platforms such as Windows, Linux, Mac, Android, or iOS based devices. The new Trinity User Interface provides a seamless and consistent experience to the user regardless of the device on which ARES software is used.
