IEE Expo 2020 concluded on a grand note

The 8th edition of the International Elevator and Escalator (IEE) Expo 2020 was held from 27th to 29th February 2020 at Bombay Convention & Exhibition Centre (BEC), Mumbai, where industry expert V Jagadish Kumar, Director L’Avenir Consultancy Pvt Ltd, announced that the industry is consistently growing by CAGR of 7 percent. The show also saw other eminent members from the government and industry and showcased the latest solutions for vertical transportation and an insightful seminar about the sector, highlighting current building technologies.

The latest edition of the International Elevator and Escalator Expo 2020 received strong participation from national players as well as other countries like Germany, the Netherlands, Spain, and Turkey. The bi-annual show scheduled in Mumbai hosted 135 companies witnessing an array of high-end solutions to help leverage the progressive sector of building technologies.

The leading show was an epicentre to meet and network with prominent component manufacturers, suppliers, OEMs, builders, architects, and government officials. Recognised for displaying the latest trends from the industry, the show floor was packed with high-quality advancements and solutions covering every vertical under the sector. Exclusive business meetings between exhibitors and decision makers from key OEMs were a major part of the three-day show. The strategic partnership between IEE Expo and Maharashtra Chamber of Housing Industry-Confederation of Real Estate Developers Association of India (MCHI-CREDAI) also played a vital role to attract real estate builders and developers who benefitted from the opportunity to explore the latest entrants and alternative technologies for various infrastructural developments around the country.

Day two of the show hosted a series of seminars and panel discussions on important topics like the Indian elevator market, future design and developments of energy-efficient gearless permanent magnet synchronous machine for elevators, safety updates for the sector, and guide rails. The show served as a perfect mix of sourcing, building strong networks and gaining insights about the future trends, making the platform the apt business hub for the sector.
