On 25th October 2023, at 4:00 PM, OEM Update organized a webinar on ‘NextGen Manufacturing in Pharma.’
The Indian pharmaceutical sector had been experiencing significant expansion in manufacturing due to the increasing demand for medicines both domestically and internationally. It had undergone a major shift due to digitization and the rise of the Internet of Things. According to reports, the Pharmaceutical market in India was expected to grow to US$100 billion by 2025, and the pharmaceutical manufacturing equipment market was expected to reach USD 21 Billion in 2030, at a CAGR of 6.1 percent from 2023 to 2030.
Digitization had become the norm. Industry 4.0, characterized by the integration of AI, IoT, and robotics, represented the future of pharmaceutical manufacturing, marked by regulations and industry transformations. To cater to evolving customer demands, the Indian pharmaceutical sector had embraced cutting-edge technologies. There was an emerging need for more Pharma solutions to help Pharma manufacturers gain operational efficiency. To stay alongside evolving industry trends, pharmaceutical manufacturers needed next-gen solutions and technological advancement to impact their Pharma business.
On that note, OEM Update hosted an interactive session on NextGen Manufacturing in Pharma on 25th October 2023 from 4 PM to 5.30 PM. During that 90-minute session, industry experts discussed opportunities, predictive maintenance, Indian pharma manufacturing machines, emerging manufacturing concepts in the pharmaceutical industry, digitization, cyber-physical hybrid systems in manufacturing, technological advancements, and self-reliance in the pharma sector.
