RSB expands its foot print – 13th plant goes into stream at Sri City, Andhra Pradesh

RSB Transmissions (I) Ltd, a Rs 3000-crore+ multi-locational global enterprise, has expanded its footprint in Sri City, AP, with the inauguration of its 13^th State-of-Art Modern Plant, matching global standards, to manufacture Propeller Shaft Assembly and cater to future requirements of South customers.

The plant was inaugurated jointly by the hands of – Mr Rajesh Mittal, President IEBCI & Deputy President Isuzu Motors India, Mr Naohiro Mukaida, Vice President – Purchasing HQ, Isuzu Motors and Mr Jagadish Hegde, Senior Vice President & Director- IEBCI. Mr Rajesh Mittal in his keynote address expressed satisfaction in selecting RSB as a partner in their progress.
Speaking on the occasion, Mr RK Behera, Chairman, RSB Group, said that we have a lion’s share in the propeller shaft market with high-end excellence in quality and ruggedness, meeting global standards. Our 13th Plant is the outcome of trust and confidence reposed on us by global giants for SCV/M&HCV segments. Mr M Sankaranaryanan, Executive Director – Operations, said that our prime objective enshrined in our quality approach is Customer Delight at all times and proactively offer upgraded products through continual research & development, product differentiation and tap areas hitherto untapped.

Mr Nishit Behera, Executive Director – Business Development & Strategy, speaking on the occasion, added that it will be a state-of-art plant meeting stringent quality requirements of Izuzu Motors, also cater to other customers in South and will be in a sprawling area of 1.3 lakh sq ft area with green backdrop/future expansion and state-of-art facilities housed in 64,000 sq feet with high-end facilities, while Mr Rajnikant Behera, Executive Director – Group Finance, said that this will boost our significant pan India and global presence as a leading industrial institution in auto segment with our Auto Vertical having world-renowned business excellence practices with Deming Prize and TPM awards from Japan.
