Obituary: BKT grieving the death of Dr. Arup Saha Deuri

Dr. Arup Saha Deuri was Head of Materials and Compound, (R&D) at BKT Bhuj plant, and a noted Indian rubber technologist. 

Balkrishna Industries Ltd’s.,(BKT) Head of Materials and Compound, (Research and Development) at the BKT Bhuj (Gujarat) plant, passed away at the age of 62 on February 17, 2023, due to liver issues.

“We are deeply saddened by the passing away of Dr. Arup Saha Deuri. An outstanding scientific leader, Dr. Deuri leaves a lasting legacy in the community and here at BKT.

 Dr. Deuri had been associated with BKT for more than a decade and during that time he had made countless contributions to the success of our company. His innovative approach to R&D will be greatly missed.

 As we mourn the loss of our dear colleague, we also remember the impact he had on our team and the company. We will continue to honor Dr. Deuri’s memory by carrying on his legacy of excellence at BKT.
