ABB recognised once again by FTSE4Good Index Series

Committed to sustainability: Ranking marks 21st consecutive year as member.

ABB has been selected once again for inclusion in the FTSE4Good Index Series. With an overall score of 4.2 on a scale from 0 to 5 (5 is the best score), ABB has improved on the previous year’s score, in particular due to progress in corporate governance and transparency. The company is ranked among the best performers in the index globally and above sector average.

The 26th UN Climate Change Conference of the Parties (COP26) in Glasgow on 31 October–12 November 2021 will bring parties together to accelerate action towards the goals of the Paris Agreement and the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change. With global society having less than a decade to cut CO₂ emissions in half to meet the 1.5°C climate goal of the Paris Agreement, new ambitious policies are being introduced to reduce emissions and move to a low-carbon economy.
