Mr. Bibhudatta Mohanty, Innovation Head in Vedanta Limited (Aluminum& Power), Orissa is involved in Metal Manufacturing for more than one and half decade is principal ‘point of contact’ for company managing multiple projects and milestones took initiative of setting up “3D Printing & Scanning Technology” in the innovation Lab for spare parts indigenization, reverse engineering & reduction of maintenance downtime. He also executed ‘Pot Modelling & Simulation’ project which will aid in current creepage in potline. Mr. Bibhudatta filed a patent for ‘Measurement of metal inventory in pot by zinc dilution’ indigenized many equipment and parts through reverse engineering.
