First edition of MMT Expo showcases world-class manufacturing practices

Machine Tools, Manufacturing and Technology (MMT) Expo 2020, a four-day mega exhibition hosted by NESCO Exhibitions, kicked off on 11^th March 2020 at the Bombay Exhibition Centre in Mumbai. The first edition of the expo, which will be held till 14^th March 2020, was inaugurated by the Guest of Honour Shreegopal Kabra, Managing Director & Group President, RR Global; Yogin Chhaniara, President, Machine Tools Manufacturers Association (MTMA) – Rajkot; Tejas Dudakiya, Director & Hon. Secretary, Dowel Machinery Pvt Ltd & Machine Tools Manufacturers Association (MTMA) – Rajkot; Suhas Belapurkar, Director – Sales & Marketing (Industrial Products), Sanjay Tools & Adhesives; Shekhar Dongre, CEO, Divya Media Publications Pvt Ltd; and Prashant Bahl, General Manager Exhibitions & Business Head, MMT Expo 2020, NESCO Ltd amidst an august industry gathering.

“The machine tools industry in Mumbai needed a major boost. MMT Expo 2020 has created an immense opportunity for the industrial segment of the northern, western and southern regions of our country. Rajkot has been the manufacturing hub of machine tools since decades and being the President of Machine Tools Manufacturers Association, we are supporting the event to give a better opportunity to the industries in our region. The event is poised to become the biggest exhibition in the machine tools industry in the near future,” shared Yogin Chhaniara, President, Machine Tools Manufacturers Association – Rajkot.

The expo saw a variety of engagement platforms like networking opportunities for mutually beneficial businesses, live product demonstrations and masterclass and training sessions to help enhance the skill sets of attendees. A seminar on Trends & Technologies of Additive Manufacturing will be organised by CNCTimes.com alongside MMT Expo on 12^th March, 2020.

The show features leading participants from various industries, including metal cutting machines and cutting tools, metal forming, presses and press brakes, laser cutting and water jet manufacturing and allied industries, metrology and measuring equipment, industrial automation, robotics and 3D printing, general engineering and many more.
