Emerson Cup 2016 to recognise innovations in HVACR industry

  The Emerson Cup, an annual awards competition instituted by Emerson Climate Technologies recognises outstanding design and innovation in the air conditioning and cold chain sector. The competition now entering its 9th consecutive edition in India was launched to provide a valuable platform for exchange between industry professionals and rising talent. The Emerson Cup helps foster development of energy efficient, innovative and environmentally responsible technology and system designs.
Speaking on the occasion Sridar Narayanswami, Vice President and Managing Director, Emerson Climate India said “As an industry, it is our responsibility to constantly raise the bar on innovation and energy efficiency standards. The Emerson Cup is just the right platform to not only encourage incumbent talent to greater heights of achievement but also infuse young blood into the industry. We would like to urge our young upcoming professionals to participate and make the most of this opportunity.” 
Entries to The Emerson Cup are open to professionals from the air conditioning, refrigeration and cold chain industry across following seven award categories:  Each category carries a prize amount of Rs100,000. The entries will be judged by a panel of jury members, bringing a wealth of diverse expertise to the competition from the fields of energy efficiency, engineering, HVACR design, education and architecture. 
Nominations to The Emerson Cup 2016 are being accepted now and will remain open until 12th August.
