Federation of Gujarat Industries (FGI) organised the 15th FGI Awards for Excellence where Compucare has been awarded for outstanding achievement in the field of women empowerment at workplace. The award was presented by Minister for Women and Child Development Maneka Gandhi.
“Compucare believes in the philosophy that an empowered woman is powerful beyond measure and beautiful beyond description. We also believe that by coming up with many initiatives for our female team members we are not making them strong as we believe that they are already strong. With these initiatives we are just trying to change the way the world perceives that strength in them. We want every girl to know that her voice can change the world,” the company said issuing a statement.
Most of its departments are headed by female team members, this shows that women at Compucare are one of the pillars behind the success of the company both nationally and internationally.
“As one of our major strategic change in our business module we have come up with a model in which we have recruited many female team members. This experiment turned out to be surprisingly successful as many of the visits to the customers made by these girls have converted into orders and some are in pipeline. Great care is taken of their safety and dignity when they need to be sent on field. We believe in the empowerment of women and we will not compromise in that goal,” the statement adds.
