HARTING Applied Technologies bags award for excellent toolmaking

HARTING Applied Technologies is a specialist in toolmaking. Within the HARTING Technology Group, the company develops, designs, and manufactures precise injection molds, die casting molds, and stamping and bending tools for the electrical and automotive industries.The HARTING subsidiary has now won the famed “Excellence in Production” competition in the category “Internal Tool-maker with less than 50 employees”.
The Fraunhofer Institute for Production Technology IPT and the WZL Laboratory for Machine Tools and Production Engineering at RWTH Aachen selected the competition’s 11 finalists on the basis of an extensive comparison of more than 290 tool and die making companies. “Our employees manufacture top-quality products and we have these people to thank for the award.
