UPF 150: high head stainless steel submersible motor pumps

 KSB Pumps in India has launched UPF 150 series of stainless steel pumps augmenting its 150 mm size of submersible motor pumps. These radial flow type pumps can deliver up to 15 m (50 feet) per stage and are available in 6 hydraulics viz. UPF 60, 80, 100, 125, 150 and 200.
Hydraulic components like impeller, stage casings, are made from investment cast high-quality stainless steel. This ensures longer life of the pump sets. Pump and motor shaft is made from stainless steel (Grade 420) offer excellent torque values. Bronze bearing bush and carbon v/s chrome steel thrust bearing ensure trouble free smooth operation.
These pumps are coupled with 150-mm (6-inch) motor to give head up to 350 metres and discharge up to 44 cubic metres per hour. Motors are available in wide range up to 18.5 kW (25 HP). Proven German technology ensures high-efficiency of motors which in turn results in low power consumption.
UPF pumps find wide applications in irrigation, drinking water supply schemes, farm houses etc.
