Trane launches chiller health check program [June 2012]

June 20, 2012 12:22 pm

Trane has launched a chiller health check program to assess the reliability and efficiency of Trane chillers and their surroundings while ensuring that system safety standards are met. The new program is designed to maximise the performance of existing chillers to reduce operating costs. As a part of this initiative, during a short on-site visit, a Trane engineer inspects the chiller’s operating condition and evaluates basic and critical parameters. In addition, an oil sample is taken and afterwards analysed in the Trane laboratory to evaluate the presence of wear on the different chiller components.
