Red Lion Controls celebrates Ethics Day

Red Lion Controls celebrates Ethics Day

November 5, 2021 3:18 am

Global Ethics Day was first held in 2014 to help raise awareness for ethics and ensure that ethics matter – whether in the daily lives of individuals, the decisions of corporations, or the forming of laws and policies. Red Lion holds its own Ethics Day celebration each year on the same day, to align with the global celebration and to remind our employees that we are committed to operating with the highest standards of integrity, for the benefit of our customers, employees, and the communities in which we operate.

As global experts in communication, monitoring and control for industrial automation and networking at Red Lion Controls, we recognise that continual nurturing and developing the ethical culture of our organisation helps to build trust with our partners and stakeholders. It supports our business model and the successful execution of our strategy to realise long-term, sustainable growth.

This year, our Pune location chose to focus on the environmental aspects of our Code of Ethics because working in an environmentally sustainable way is good for all us and is becoming a requirement of many of our customers and the communities where we work. With the local theme of “Lead the Scene and Keep It Green” the team has accomplished the following environmentally friendly activities:

• Held a clean-up drive at Mulshi Dam with approximately 100 kgs plastic & paper waste collected disposed at municipal waste collection spot.

• Conducted an ethics seminar for all employees followed by team bonding activities.

• Distributed 80 plant saplings to all employees which were to be planted at their homes.

Sharing his thoughts on Global Ethics Day, Sameer Mudhalwadkar, Sales Director for Red Lion said, “Our Code of Business Ethics is one of the key values that our company is built on. This day gives us an opportunity to further explore specific areas of the code with our employees. It helps them to see by example how living up to our values and code of ethics brings value to our organisation and allows us all to be responsible citizens.”
