Demand for industrial automation is increasing in Indian manufacturing

Manojit Brahme, Designation, Director, SDTRONICS (P) LTD., in an interview with OEM Update, talks about the demand and benefits of their Industrial Automation cables across industries and factories.
How do you see the demand for automated cable solutions in India?
India is an emerging economy that has tremendous potential and opportunities. After last year’s lockdown, everything was changed and drastically shifted to Technology and Automation. Adding furthermore perks to it, the government has taken some good initiatives which are favorable to our industry. So I must say that I see a huge demand coming for the Industrial Automation Cable solutions and being No. 1 in India SDTRONICS sees an ocean of opportunities to sail through it!
What are the significant benefits of automation cables by sdtronics at industries and factories?
It usually takes 16-20 weeks to import the Industrial automation cables, not to mention the cost and effort. Sdtronics does the job here by providing the same International Quality Standard cables which are being manufactured within India by sdtronics whilst maintaining the cost. This shrinks down the 16 week period to just four days! Due to this, it becomes easier for the end consumers and they get the international quality at Indian cost in no time!
What are the major areas of utilising power cables?
Power cables are generally used to deliver power to the Servo Motors and Drives which are being used in various SPM’s (Special Purpose Machines) such as Packaging, Printing, Conveyor, Robots, and much more. What makes our cables stand out is the quality and sustainability at any climate, higher voltages and current. These cables are made using the purest forms of materials to give their best performance and last longer
What measures are being taken by your organisation to attain maximum efficiency in your products?
We believe that we’re an ISO-certified company by blood and not just by the name. Efficiency is a byproduct of making mistakes, the real task is to understand them quickly. This keeps us all aware. There is an uninterruptible process through which every task gets done in a streamlined manner. Talking about the implementation of efficiency while making our products, we follow DSI (Daily Small Improvements) also, we have developed 3 point inspection system which is the part of our process which works to ensure that not a single product faces rejection and I am very contented to say that we haven’t faced any quality issue from our customers in last 25 years.
What are the challenges and barriers being faced by your organisation amid pandemic?
As sdtronics comes under the manufacturing sector, not getting out of our homes and not being able to be at the work was the only challenge and barrier that we have been facing throughout the lockdown. As lockdown ended we were free to set new milestones and new records! The credit goes to our dexterous team of professionals who are always there to give their fullest!
What are your plans and projections for the next 2 years?
SDTRONICS always aims to serve its clients with the best products and services. We always look for maximum results with minimum effort! Talking about the future projections sdtronics aims to increase its production capacity furthermore within the next two years. Also, we are planning to expand our work in the south and north region. We are more than happy to announce that we are about to launch some new products to give our customers a vast variety of best quality products.
