Siemens delivers automation technologies for ‘Atal Tunnel’

Siemens has partnered and implemented latest tunnel automation and digital technologies for the ‘Atal Tunnel’ project – one of the world’s longest and highest-altitude tunnels. The total length of the tunnel located at ‘Rohtang Pass’ is 9.02 km and is at an elevation of 3,100 metres (10,000 feet).

Siemens’ technologies provide electrification, automation and digitalization solutions for local and remote monitoring, connectivity, lighting, ventilation, power distribution and fire safety systems within one of the world’s longest and highest altitude tunnels.
