Refurbish before replace a battery

All lead acid batteries get degraded because of aging and sulphation. Industries incur huge cost on replacement of batteries for traction, UPS and solar energy storage while it requires only 25 percent costs to refurbish them. Timely refurbishment after two-three years of operations or usage of new battery gives altogether new life that is equivalent to a new battery.

Refurbishment has two parts: Desulphation and adding catalyst or additive. Many players have started this refurbishment process in haphazard way without proper knowledge. Customers must ask such companies about their refurbishment machine process, principal employer support, legal agreement with principal employer of technology transferred, machine software reports sample, authorised laboratory reports, patent number and its related papers which need to be verified.

The company plans to come up with refurbishment of Li-Ion batteries of electric vehicles and storage application.
